Cocktails In The City
I came on board as a social media manager for Cocktails in the City for their London Winter edition in March 2016, followed by Summer 2016, then so far this year, I’ve managed the social media for the London Winter & Summer events, Glasgow, Bristol and Edinburgh.
My role at CITC is as a support to the Events Manager, to devise a social strategy and content plan, create and post content, to liaise with all the bars and brands involved to ensure they generate video and photo content to reshare, engage with social media followers, run advertising campaigns across all platforms and generally do an awesome job.
Aside from the substantial growth in engagement & followers, we topped impressions of 6.2 million on Twitter and 3 million on Instagram in London over the summer event.

The King’s Ginger
I’ve been doing copywriting, content and photography for The King’s Ginger (a liqueur formulated by Berry Bros. in 1903 for King Edward VII) since 2011. In October 2015, I took over the running of the Facebook page, working on improving TOV, posting at optimum times and formats, varying up content & taking new photos. Growth rates & reach immediately tripled, as did engagement. These stats have stayed consistently high and I continue to manage the page with a light touch, posting 1-2 times a week.

HOP Vietnamese
As part of Team DigitalBinx (2012-2017), I worked on a few small but awesome food clients, creating lovely content for them. HOP Vietnamese opened in June 2015 and opened a second branch in Bank in 2017. I took an array of bright photos, posted 3 times a week and managed customer service enquiries. I handed over to HOP’s new in-house marketing badass in mid-2017. These guys will be going city, then nation, then world-wide – mark my words!

Zia Lucia Pizza
Launching small restaurants is something I have lots of experience with. We launched Zia Lucia’s first pizzeria on Holloway Road in June 2016, setting up all their social media platforms from scratch, running Facebook advertising to build page fans, proactive following on Twitter and Instagram, creating and curating content. I took a lot of high quality photos for use on social media and for PR, including some special pink pizzas for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
I also ran some events for local businesses, inviting them to free or discounted tasting events, capturing email addresses and, finally, wrote monthly newsletters using Mailchimp.

The Glenlivet
I often do stints freelancing at busy agencies who need a hand on specific social media accounts. Last summer, I worked at Zone Digital on The Glenlivet, producing exclusive subscriber content for the website and drafting social media posts for the brand.

Pure Free From
Another quick job I did for Zone Digital was a few weeks of content for Pure Free From. An extremely fun job, making the most of Pure’s witty, quirky ToV! Here are a few of my posts.
